Get ready for the actionGet ready for the action, the intrigue and the drama as the famous Karate Kid movie from 1984 gets a makeover. Columbia Pictures will be releasing the much anticipated revised version of The Karate Kid on June 11, 2010. This fresh remake features Jaden Smith, Will Smith’s son, as 12 year old Dre Parker who is forced to adjust to life in Beijing, China when his single mom relocates for work. Meeting Mr. Han, played by Jackie Chan, Dre learns effective, although unconventional, Kung-Fu techniques so that he can stand up to the bullies in his new life. The grand finale certainly packs a bunch, as Dre battling with his bullies in a large scale Martial Arts Tournament.
